Mine Kuramae

Mine is cheerful, enthusiastic and almost uniquely capable of matching Ayame's flamboyant personality without becoming exhausted by him. Her enthusiasm is not passive agreement; she actively participates in the atmosphere of the shop and shares his love of elaborate clothing.

She becomes particularly excited about dressing attractive girls in costumes. Mine's interest is both playful and professional, since she possesses the sewing ability needed to turn the shop's eccentric ideas into finished garments.

Beneath the exuberance, Mine is considerate. She understands Ayame's desire to repair his relationship with Yuki and deliberately creates opportunities for the brothers to spend meaningful time together.

Mine has no supernatural abilities. She is a skilled seamstress and costume designer capable of producing the highly specialized garments sold through Ayame's shop.

Ayame Souma is Mine's employer, housemate and romantic partner. She accepts Ayame Souma's flamboyance and provides the practical support that allows his shop to function. They are later shown building a family together.

Yuki Souma is Ayame's younger brother. Mine understands Ayame Souma's regret over their estrangement and helps create opportunities for the brothers to reconnect.

Tooru Honda immediately attracts Mine's attention as someone she wants to dress in the shop's costumes.

Saki Hanajima later becomes another enthusiastic recipient of Mine's costume-making skills when she requests clothing suited to her role in the school play.
