Michio Tanto Ogorare

Mechio is motivated strongly by self-preservation and money. During his criminal years, he is willing to participate in dangerous robberies alongside Gasback, but his loyalty lasts only as long as remaining with the gang serves his interests.

Two decades later, wealth has not made him particularly courageous. The possibility of Gasback returning frightens Mechio and his former partners enough that they contribute heavily to Macca City's defenses and the enormous bounty placed on their old leader.

Mechio is an ordinary human without supernatural abilities. During his younger years he works as an armed robber and is therefore accustomed to participating in dangerous criminal operations.

By the present-day events of Badlands Rumble, his greatest resource is financial rather than physical. As the owner of a successful factory, he has accumulated enough wealth to become an influential businessman.

Mechio appears in the opening robbery of Badlands Rumble alongside Gasback, Caine Flaccano and Dorino Ohre Tadiski. The operation establishes the relationship among the four men before the film moves forward twenty years.

Mechio, Caine and Dorino betray Gasback during the robbery and attempt to escape with the stolen money. Vash prevents Gasback from killing them, allowing the three traitors to survive and eventually become wealthy businessmen.

Twenty years later, Gasback systematically attacks the businesses his former partners built with their fortunes. Mechio's factory is among the properties destroyed as Gasback works his way toward Caine in Macca City.

Gasback Gallon Getaway is Mechio's former leader and criminal partner. Mechio joins Caine and Dorino in betraying him during their robbery, creating the grudge Gasback pursues twenty years later.

Caine Flaccano is one of Mechio's fellow former robbers and later another wealthy target of Gasback's revenge.

Dorino Ohre Tadiski is the third member of the group that once worked under Gasback.

Vash the Stampede intervenes during the gang's final robbery together. By preventing Gasback from killing the three traitors, Vash indirectly allows Mechio to survive and build his later fortune.
