Personality
Personality
Madarao is reserved, disciplined and pragmatic. As the effective leader of the Third Exorcists, he maintains considerably more composure than Tokusa and tends to focus on completing assignments rather than provoking ordinary Exorcists.
His background as a CROW member leaves him accustomed to Central's hierarchy and to treating himself as an instrument of the organization. He accepts invasive modifications to his own body as part of that service.
His loyalty is also directed toward his fellow Thirds. Their shared origins and physical condition create a bond that distinguishes them from the ordinary Exorcists with whom they operate.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
Madarao is a human-Akuma hybrid created through the Third Exorcist Program. Instead of synchronizing with Innocence, his modified body uses Dark Matter derived from Akuma.
This gives him enhanced physical abilities and allows him to destroy Akuma by attacking them with Akuma-derived power. The Thirds can absorb Akuma matter and use it to strengthen themselves.
His earlier CROW training also provides martial skill, speed and experience with the techniques used by Central's elite operatives.
Story Role
Story Role
Madarao is introduced as the leader figure among the Third Exorcists, an experimental force intended to increase the Black Order's ability to fight the rapidly growing Akuma threat.
He fights alongside ordinary Exorcists during missions and initially demonstrates that the Thirds can destroy Akuma effectively despite lacking Innocence.
The program's reliance on cells derived from Alma Karma becomes catastrophic when Alma awakens. His influence reaches the Third Exorcists through their shared Dark Matter, turning the Order's new weapons against their creators and allies.
Relationships
Relationships
Tokusa and Tewaku are fellow Third Exorcists with whom Madarao shares both CROW training and the modifications of the Third Exorcist Program.
Alma Karma is the source used to create the Third Exorcists, making Madarao and the others extensions of Alma's altered body at a cellular level.
Malcolm C. Lvellie is one of the Central authorities responsible for deploying the Third Exorcist project.
Allen Walker fights alongside Madarao and the Thirds before Alma's awakening destabilizes the program.
