Kai Ba

Kai Ba is portrayed primarily as a professional battlefield commander. He follows Feng Ming Wu's larger strategy and advances with the other Wei generals rather than pursuing an independent personal agenda.

His limited time in the story leaves little established material about his private personality.

Kai Ba holds the rank of general in Wei and commands an independent army. His position beneath Feng Ming Wu indicates enough leadership ability to participate in complex multi-army operations.

At Juuko, he contributes to Wei's coordinated offensive alongside other generals. The campaign requires Qin and Wei forces to rapidly adapt to several former Great Generals fighting for Chu.

Kai Ba participates in the War of the Three States after Wei accepts Qin's proposal for a temporary alliance. Feng Ming Wu brings a major Wei army to Juuko and divides its strength among several subordinate generals.

Kai Ba advances as part of this offensive against the Juuko forces. During the battle, he encounters Gen U, whose martial strength overwhelms him. Gen U kills Kai Ba, immediately reducing the offensive power available to Wei.

His defeat helps demonstrate that Juuko's defenders are not ordinary Chu officers but commanders whose individual ability once earned them Great General rank in independent states.

Feng Ming Wu is Kai Ba's commanding Great General and directs the Wei offensive at Juuko.

Ei Jun is a fellow Wei general participating in the campaign.

Han Ryuu commands another section of Feng Ming Wu's army.

Gen U is Kai Ba's battlefield opponent at Juuko and kills him during their clash.
