Feng Ming Wu

Feng Ming Wu is composed, pragmatic and extremely confident in his intelligence. He respects genuine military ability but has little sentimental attachment to people whose usefulness has passed.

He is strongly patriotic toward Wei and carries pride in his father's military legacy. Qing Wu's defeat remains important to him, particularly because the man responsible becomes one of the commanders Feng Ming Wu encounters during the Coalition invasion.

Feng Ming Wu also has the patience to think beyond a single battle. He evaluates commanders according to how quickly they are developing and is willing to acknowledge opponents whose future potential may exceed their current rank.

Feng Ming Wu is an elite strategist with particular expertise in siege engineering. He designs enormous siege towers and other military machines capable of challenging fortifications that conventional armies would struggle to breach.

His battlefield formations are similarly advanced. During the Coalition invasion, he employs complex troop movements capable of producing large-scale rotating attacks and encirclements.

Unlike warrior-generals, Feng Ming Wu avoids unnecessary personal combat. He protects his headquarters carefully and prepares escape routes and decoys because preserving the strategist directing an army is, in his view, more important than satisfying martial pride.

His intelligence places him among the foremost strategic commanders of his generation. He later combines Wei forces with Qin troops in circumstances where cooperation between former enemies becomes temporarily advantageous.

Feng Ming Wu makes his major entrance as commander of Wei's army in the Coalition invasion. He brings specialized siege equipment against Kankoku Pass and nearly overturns the defensive assumptions surrounding the supposedly impregnable fortress.

He later participates in the conflict at Choyou, where Wei's surviving Fire Dragons return to the battlefield. When Xin reaches his headquarters, Feng Ming Wu uses a decoy and escapes, resulting in Xin killing Rei Ou instead. Feng Ming Wu accepts his teacher's loss with cold pragmatism and declares that he will soon surpass him.

Feng Ming Wu subsequently becomes Wei's foremost military commander and a member of the new generation of Seven Fire Dragons.

During the Qin-Wei alliance against Chu, he coordinates with Teng while making clear that the temporary cooperation does not alter the fundamental rivalry between their states.

Qing Wu is Feng Ming Wu's father and an important source of his military legacy.

Rei Ou is Feng Ming Wu's mentor and one of the original Seven Fire Dragons. Feng Ming Wu uses the confusion surrounding Rei Ou to escape Xin and later declares that he would soon have surpassed his teacher anyway.

Teng is one of Feng Ming Wu's principal Qin rivals and later a temporary battlefield ally.

Xin attacks Feng Ming Wu's headquarters during the Choyou campaign and becomes one of the young Qin commanders whose growth he must account for.

Gai Mou is another Wei Great General and fellow member of the Seven Fire Dragons.

Biao Gong defeated Feng Ming Wu's father, making him an important figure in the younger general's inherited military rivalry with Qin.
