Jibakurai

Before completing his transformation, Jibakurai is anxious and desperate to stop the process. His history also marks him as greedy: he remained attached to the hospital he once owned rather than moving on.

After Hollowfication, instinct and aggression overtake his remaining reason. His final human expression after purification is peaceful.

Sticker Phlegm is an adhesive secretion that rapidly hardens around whatever it touches. Jibakurai uses it to bind Ichigo’s hands to his sword and attach the weapon to the hospital railing.

His Hollow body resembles a large frog and possesses the physical strength to pressure an inexperienced Substitute Shinigami. He has no Zanpakutō or additional named attack.

Don Kanonji discovers the chained spirit during a televised investigation and mistakes the cavity forming in its chest for the source of its suffering. By forcing it open and damaging the Chain of Fate, he accelerates the transformation.

Ichigo fights the newly formed Hollow while protecting the television crew and spectators. He cuts through its mask with his Zanpakutō, cleansing the soul and correcting Kanonji’s mistake.

Don Kanonji inadvertently causes Jibakurai’s rapid Hollowfication while attempting to help him. Ichigo Kurosaki defeats and purifies him.
