Hinagiku

Hinagiku is energetic and forceful, matching the defensive urgency of the technique he helps create. His individual dialogue and private temperament receive little development beyond the Shun Shun Rikka’s initial introduction.

Like the other five spirits, he identifies himself as part of Orihime rather than a wholly independent being. His purpose and continued existence are therefore tied to her will and spiritual power.

Hinagiku combines with Baigon and Lily when Orihime calls “Santen Kesshun.” The three spirits form a triangular barrier between Orihime and an incoming threat.

The shield rejects events occurring outside its boundary, stopping or repelling attacks rather than merely absorbing their force. Hinagiku does not independently perform Orihime’s healing or offensive techniques.

Hinagiku first manifests when Orihime awakens her power while protecting Tatsuki Arisawa from the Hollow Numb Chandelier. The six spirits explain that they are expressions of Orihime’s own abilities.

He subsequently appears whenever the defensive trio is visibly summoned, although later battles often depict only the completed shield. No separate death or departure occurs, and Orihime continues using Santen Kesshun throughout the story.

Orihime Inoue is the source and wielder of Hinagiku’s power. Baigon and Lily are his partners in Santen Kesshun.

Ayame, Shunou and Tsubaki are the other members of the Shun Shun Rikka. Tatsuki Arisawa is the friend whose danger prompts Orihime and the six spirits to awaken.
