Hideji shares HAYASii's theatrical commitment to performance. He appears fully comfortable combining flamboyant rock presentation with the practical requirements of an occult ritual.

Individual characterization is limited because Hideji and his bandmates function primarily as an ensemble. Their seriousness about performing, however, contrasts with the absurdity of introducing a visual-kei concert into an exorcism.

He follows Seiko's direction without visible concern about the supernatural danger involved, indicating familiarity with the unusual work for which HAYASii is hired.

Hideji has no confirmed personal supernatural ability. His established specialty is guitar performance.

His playing forms part of HAYASii's musical exorcism technique. The band's intense sound is used to help force a possessing spirit from its host while a medium handles the spiritual aspects of the ritual.

Hideji's effectiveness therefore depends on ensemble performance rather than a named individual technique. He provides the guitar component while the other musicians maintain the rhythm, vocals, and bass.
