Goro

Goro receives little individual characterization because his appearance focuses on Hedoro's family as a group. He behaves as a visiting relative rather than an aggressor and accompanies his young son during the family's outing.

The comedy depends on the enormous gap between Goro's actual behavior and the assumptions made by the humans around him. His Dakini appearance suggests overwhelming violence, while he is simply participating in an ordinary family visit and bath.

His presence with his son also establishes that Hedoro's family spans another generation, broadening the otherwise brief glimpse into the florist's life before coming to Edo.

Goro is a member of the Dakini Tribe, an Amanto people renowned throughout the series for tremendous physical strength. His body reflects the massive build typical of adult Dakini males.

No individual fighting style, named technique or weapon is established for Goro. His brief appearance does not provide enough evidence to attribute the exceptional personal abilities of fighters such as Hedoro to him.

Goro travels to Edo with Hedoro's family during their visit to the planet. His brothers Shiro, Jiro and Saburo, their father and Goro's son accompany him.

The family goes to an Edo bathhouse also being used by the Yorozuya and several acquaintances. Gintoki and the others become terrified of accidentally offending the gigantic Dakini visitors, causing an ordinary bathing trip to escalate into a prolonged exercise in panic.

Goro does not receive a separate subplot within the episode. His purpose is tied to the family ensemble, particularly the revelation that Hedoro comes from an entire household of similarly intimidating Dakini.

Hedoro is Goro's brother and the relative the family has come to visit in Edo. Hedoro's peaceful career as a florist contrasts with the fear his appearance inspires in his neighbors.

Goro's Son is Goro's child and accompanies him to Earth and the bathhouse.

Shiro, Jiro and Saburo are Goro's brothers and fellow members of the visiting family.

Hedoro's Father is Goro's father and the grandfather of Goro's Son.
