Genno

Genno is patient, calculating, secretive, and exceptionally fond of complicated games of misdirection.

His ability to pose convincingly as an ordinary elderly carpenter allows him to live among Konoha's residents without raising suspicion.

Although driven for decades by bitterness over the destruction of Kagero Village and the loss of his son, Genno is not portrayed as emotionally empty.

His friendship with Naruto reawakens memories of the scavenger hunts he once arranged for his child and alters what he ultimately wants from his last operation.

Genno is an extraordinary trap specialist and strategist.

He can place explosive tags in interconnected patterns and design layered traps where discovering one mechanism directs investigators toward another false conclusion.

His infiltration skills are considered exceptional enough for Shikamaru Nara to regard his espionage ability as legendary.

Genno also uses genjutsu, including Rockslide Genjutsu, and can summon a Giant Eagle for transportation or to activate traps remotely.
