Personality
Personality
Garnet is sociable, appearance-conscious, and interested in romance. She frequently discusses men with her sisters and is particularly attracted to physical strength.
Her conversations with Ruby and Sapphire provide a civilian view of village life, where courtship, gossip, food, and entertainment continue alongside Senku's much larger scientific goals.
She can also be blunt. When Ginro imagines using victory in the Grand Bout to create an enormous harem, Garnet immediately points out the obvious practical problem with his plan.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
Garnet has no established specialist combat ability or scientific expertise.
She contributes as an ordinary resident of Ishigami Village and participates in the communal labor and social life surrounding the Kingdom of Science.
Her role is therefore closer to the civilian population that benefits from Senku's inventions than to the technical or combat teams producing them.
Story Role
Story Role
Garnet first appears around her sisters as Ishigami Village reacts to the arrival of Senku Ishigami. She evaluates the outsider primarily according to whether he is physically strong, while her sisters have their own opinions about his appearance.
The three sisters later watch the Grand Bout and react to Ginro's injuries and increasingly ridiculous ambitions.
Garnet also becomes one of the villagers delighted by scientific luxuries that did not previously exist in the Stone World. When the Kingdom of Science produces cotton candy, she and the others experience a kind of food far removed from the village's ordinary diet.
She remains part of the Ishigami Village population as the settlement becomes the Kingdom of Science's original home base.
