Ruby

Ruby is cheerful, expressive, and easily excited by unfamiliar inventions. Like many Ishigami villagers, she initially has no frame of reference for modern food, electricity, or machinery, so Senku's creations regularly produce enthusiastic reactions from her.

She is particularly close to her sisters and is commonly seen alongside Sapphire and Garnet. The three share similar reactions to village events, including their disgust when Ginro talks about using the chief's position to create a harem.

Ruby is also willing to work hard when Senku needs manpower. Her enthusiasm does not spare her from exhaustion, especially during the physically demanding work required to operate the early iron forge.

Ruby has no specialized combat ability or scientific training established in canon. Her main contribution comes through the collective labor on which the Kingdom of Science's earliest industrial projects depend.

She helps pump the bellows supplying oxygen to the iron forge, an exhausting job requiring many villagers to work together. She later assists again when the group needs iron and electrical equipment for Senku's technological roadmap.

Ruby therefore represents an important part of Senku's approach to rebuilding technology: scientific knowledge alone cannot produce civilization without ordinary people willing to supply labor.

Ruby becomes more visible when Senku needs additional villagers to operate the furnace. She and her sisters join the workforce and help turn the theoretical possibility of iron production into something Ishigami Village can actually sustain.

She subsequently appears throughout village life, watching the Grand Bout and participating in communal reactions to Senku's inventions. Cotton candy leaves her overwhelmed by its sweetness, while the electric Christmas tree demonstrates another aspect of the old world's technology to her.

As Ishigami Village develops into the Kingdom of Science's home base, Ruby remains part of the civilian population supporting its projects rather than becoming a specialist expedition member.

Sapphire and Garnet are Ruby's sisters and her constant companions as the other two Sparkly Sisters.

Alabaster is Ruby's father, while Dia is her mother.

Senku Ishigami introduces Ruby and the rest of Ishigami Village to technologies and foods unknown in the Stone World.

Ginro's behavior during the Grand Bout draws particularly negative reactions from Ruby and her sisters.
