Eliade

Eliade is vain, romantic and deeply insecure. She loves clothing, makeup and beautiful surroundings, investing heavily in an appearance that allows her to experience a life she otherwise believes impossible.

Her relationship with Arystar Krory III reveals genuine emotional attachment beneath that vanity. She initially approaches him for practical reasons but becomes increasingly invested in being loved by him and living together as an ordinary couple.

Her insecurity also makes her possessive. Anything threatening the fragile life she has created with Krory is treated as an enemy.

Eliade possesses the abilities of a Level 2 Akuma, including enhanced strength, speed and durability beyond those of Level 1 machines. Her evolved intelligence allows her to pass convincingly as human and develop an independent personality.

She can manipulate water, drawing moisture from her surroundings and using it offensively. This ability allows her to attack across distance and makes her especially dangerous in environments where sufficient water is available.

As an Akuma, Eliade cannot safely hide what she is from Krory indefinitely because his parasitic Innocence instinctively identifies and attacks Akuma. Their apparent domestic life therefore contains a conflict neither can permanently avoid.

Eliade is living in Arystar Krory III's castle when Allen Walker and Lavi arrive to investigate reports of a vampire attacking villagers. Krory believes his own behavior is monstrous and does not understand why he instinctively attacks certain people.

The investigation reveals that Eliade is a Level 2 Akuma and that the supposed victims Krory attacks are themselves Akuma. Eliade has been concealing her identity because she genuinely wants to remain with him.

When the truth makes continued coexistence impossible, Eliade and Krory fight. Krory's Innocence ultimately destroys her, but their feelings for one another remain genuine. Her loss becomes the event that pushes Krory to leave his castle and enter the wider world as an Exorcist.

Arystar Krory III is Eliade's lover and the person with whom she wants to build an ordinary life. Although Eliade initially conceals that she is an Akuma, her love for Krory becomes genuine. Their incompatible natures eventually force them into a battle that ends with Krory destroying her.

Allen Walker investigates the supposed vampire incidents around Krory's castle and gradually uncovers Eliade's secret.

Lavi accompanies Allen during the investigation and helps expose the truth behind the attacks.
