Dice is a masochist who actively enjoys receiving powerful attacks. Rather than being intimidated by dangerous opponents, he becomes excited by the prospect of experiencing pain.

He is nevertheless a dependable executive under Tesoro and performs his casino duties professionally until open conflict begins.

Dice possesses enormous physical strength and durability. His muscular body can withstand tremendous punishment, and his unusual enjoyment of pain means that injuries often encourage rather than discourage him.

He fights with a huge axe and can use Armament Haki, further increasing his offensive and defensive capabilities.

Dice initially appears as one of Gran Tesoro's casino dealers and later participates directly in defending Tesoro from the Straw Hats.

He fights Zoro during the uprising. Zoro's superior swordsmanship ultimately overwhelms Dice despite the executive's strength and durability.

Gild Tesoro is Dice's leader and employer.

Baccarat is a fellow Gran Tesoro executive. Roronoa Zoro becomes Dice's principal opponent.
