Denki Kaminari

Kaminari is friendly, energetic, humorous, and considerably more relaxed than many of his classmates. He socializes easily with people who have very different personalities, including Bakugou.

He can appear frivolous or easily distracted, particularly in academic settings, but dangerous situations reveal genuine courage. Kaminari is afraid when facing overwhelming enemies, yet he repeatedly acts anyway when classmates or civilians depend on him.

His insecurity becomes especially visible when he is separated from his friends before major battles. Encouragement from Midnight helps him focus on the person he most wants to protect rather than the scale of the threat in front of him.

Electrification allows Kaminari to generate and discharge electricity from his body. Large indiscriminate discharges can incapacitate multiple opponents simultaneously.

The major drawback is precision. Early in his training, Kaminari cannot freely direct electricity after releasing it, making broad attacks unsafe when allies are nearby.

His Sharpshooting Gear solves much of this problem. By firing pointer discs onto targets or surfaces, Kaminari can create a path for a concentrated electrical discharge.

Exceeding his wattage limit temporarily short-circuits his brain, leaving him dazed and cognitively impaired until he recovers.

Kaminari participates in the U.S.J. battle, Sports Festival, training camp, provisional licensing examination, and numerous Class 1-A exercises.

His friendship with Kyoka Jiro becomes increasingly visible through their teasing interactions and mutual concern.

During the Paranormal Liberation War, Kaminari is placed with the front-line heroes because his Quirk can counter a major electrical attack. Although frightened, he absorbs the discharge and protects the advancing hero force.

During the final battle at U.A., Kaminari becomes part of the team powering the floating fortress designed to contain Shigaraki, using Electrification as infrastructure as well as a combat ability.

Kyoka Jiro is one of Kaminari's closest classmates. Their frequent teasing is paired with clear mutual concern, particularly during dangerous operations.

Eijirou Kirishima, Hanta Sero, and Mina Ashido form part of Kaminari's regular social circle.

Katsuki Bakugou is frequently drawn into Kaminari's casual interactions despite Bakugou's abrasive personality.

Midnight encourages Kaminari when fear threatens his confidence before the Paranormal Liberation War.
