Demora

Demora is taciturn, aggressive and obedient to his guard assignment. He shows little interest in conversation, allowing Aisslinger to explain their purpose while he attacks intruders directly.

His fighting style reflects that simplicity: he trusts overwhelming force and continues pressing forward until Chad decisively surpasses him.

Demora draws surrounding reishi into his hands to reinforce his blows. This absorption can interfere with nearby reishi constructs, making it particularly troublesome for Quincy techniques.

His named attack, Lengua Tronco, launches his massive tongue as a heavy projectile. No Zanpakutō or Resurrección is shown; the manga does not establish that he possesses either one.

Demora and Aisslinger guard a subterranean route used by Ichigo Kurosaki, Uryū Ishida and Yasutora Sado during their invasion of Hueco Mundo. Demora initially disrupts Uryū’s bow, prompting Chad to take him as an opponent.

Chad breaks through Demora’s defenses and defeats him with El Directo. The damaged passage subsequently collapses over the guardians. Demora is never seen again, but the manga does not explicitly confirm that the collapse killed him.

Aisslinger Wernarr is Demora’s fellow gatekeeper and combat partner. Both serve within Sōsuke Aizen’s Arrancar army.

Yasutora Sado is the opponent who defeats Demora. Uryū Ishida first engages the two guardians before Chad takes over the battle.
