Crocketts

Crocketts is formal, obedient and intensely loyal to Pegasus. He generally approaches his work with professional seriousness, even when the extraordinary circumstances surrounding Duelist Kingdom place him in uncomfortable situations.

He is considerably less composed when personally threatened. His administrative confidence depends heavily on the protection offered by Pegasus and Industrial Illusions, and direct confrontation can quickly make him nervous.

Crocketts rarely questions Pegasus's instructions. His role is to make his employer's decisions happen, whether that means supervising tournament procedures, delivering information or handling visitors.

Crocketts is not established as a competitive duelist. His abilities lie in administration and his position within Industrial Illusions.

During Duelist Kingdom, he helps manage Pegasus's tournament and serves as an intermediary between Pegasus and other participants. His responsibilities include monitoring events and facilitating access to Pegasus Castle.

He is trusted with sensitive information concerning Industrial Illusions and Pegasus's plans, indicating that his position is substantially more important than that of an ordinary servant.

Crocketts appears throughout Duelist Kingdom as Pegasus's right-hand man. He reports tournament developments and assists with the operation of the castle where the competition's final stages are held.

When Seto Kaiba reaches Pegasus Castle while searching for Mokuba Kaiba, Crocketts becomes caught between Kaiba's demands and his loyalty to Pegasus.

Kaiba takes Crocketts hostage at gunpoint in the manga, using him to force access to Pegasus. The anime alters portions of the confrontation while retaining Crocketts's role as one of Pegasus's principal attendants.

Pegasus J. Crawford is Crocketts's employer and the person he serves most directly. Crocketts handles administrative matters for Pegasus J. Crawford and regularly reports developments to him.
