Bozu is cruel, boastful, and eager to mock opponents while Phantom Lord is winning. He enjoys using painful sound attacks on enemies who are already struggling to defend themselves.

He is also impressed by displays of raw power, including Reedus Jonah's summoned creatures and the Fairy Tail mages who ultimately defeat Phantom Lord.

Like Sue, Bozu is afraid of Jose's anger. A threat from Gajeel to blame Lucy's injuries on the pair immediately stops both of them from protesting his behavior.

After the war, his hostility fades considerably, and he later watches Fairy Tail performances alongside former Phantom Lord comrades.

Bozu uses Sound Magic, generating magical musical notes whose sound pressure can stun, injure, or knock opponents unconscious.

Howling sends a swarm of notes toward a target and produces a piercing burst of sound strong enough to knock Reedus unconscious.

Disturbed sends notes through the ground before surrounding the target in a painful sound vortex. The technique temporarily leaves an opponent unable to react effectively and works particularly well when combined with Sue's trapping magic.

Bozu's magic therefore functions primarily as crowd control and incapacitation rather than straightforward physical damage.

Bozu first appears around Phantom Lord's operations during its escalating conflict with Fairy Tail.

His main anime-original battle occurs when he accompanies Gajeel and Sue to attack the hideout where Lucy is being protected.

Sue reflects Reedus's attack, and Bozu follows with Howling to incapacitate the Fairy Tail mage. When Loke arrives, Bozu uses Disturbed to leave the weakened Celestial Spirit vulnerable to Sue's Kaleidoscope.

The group then returns Lucy to Phantom Lord.

After Natsu Dragneel defeats Gajeel, Bozu is astonished by Fairy Tail's power and admits that the opposing guild's mages are much stronger than he expected.

He later appears among former Phantom Lord members enjoying public events rather than continuing the guild war.
