Bluenote Stinger

Bluenote is reserved, arrogant, and supremely confident in his strength. He rarely changes expression even while overwhelming opponents and treats fighting powerful mages as a useful way of keeping himself in condition.

His loyalty to Grimoire Heart is pragmatic rather than ideological. Although he follows Hades's orders for much of the Tenrou Island operation, Bluenote openly admits that he has little interest in the guild's pursuit of Zeref. What he wants is the powerful magic associated with Mavis Vermillion's grave.

Bluenote enjoys demonstrating the difference in power between himself and weaker opponents, repeatedly asking whether they can "fly" before increasing gravity and forcing them toward the ground.

Bluenote uses Gravity Magic on an enormous scale. He can dramatically increase gravity around individuals or over broad areas, pinning opponents to the ground and producing crushing pressure without needing to touch them.

He can reverse or redirect gravitational forces to lift enormous objects, manipulate people in midair, or drag incoming magical attacks downward before they reach him. His ambient gravitational field can be strong enough to affect the environment around his body.

Bluenote possesses immense Magic Power even by Grimoire Heart standards. His presence can be sensed from considerable distances, and the Seven Kin acknowledge him as a combatant above their normal level.

His physical ability is similarly exceptional. During his confrontation with Gildarts Clive, Bluenote exchanges direct punches and headbutts with Fairy Tail's strongest active mage and survives clashes powerful enough to tear apart the surrounding terrain.

Bluenote remains aboard Grimoire Heart's airship during the early stages of the Tenrou Island invasion. Hades considers the Seven Kin sufficient for the operation and initially refuses Bluenote permission to join them.

Once enough of the Kin have fallen, Bluenote leaves the ship. He encounters Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Wendy Marvell, and their Exceed companions and immediately overwhelms the group with gravity.

His real objective becomes clear when he searches for Mavis's grave and the magic hidden there. Cana Alberona, having reached the grave herself, attempts to use Fairy Glitter against him.

Gildarts ultimately intervenes and takes over the battle. After an intense exchange, Gildarts defeats Bluenote with Crushing Evil, Spreading the Truth: Absolute Heaven.

Years later, Bluenote reappears as a hired fighter associated with Orochi's Fin, where he encounters Natsu again and is defeated after discovering just how much stronger the Dragon Slayer has become.

Hades is Bluenote's Guild Master and superior in Grimoire Heart. Bluenote generally follows his commands but does not share Hades's obsession with awakening Zeref.

Gildarts Clive becomes Bluenote's principal opponent on Tenrou Island and one of the few mages capable of confronting his Gravity Magic directly.

Cana Alberona encounters Bluenote while attempting to protect the magic associated with Mavis's grave.

Mavis Vermillion is not personally known to Bluenote, but the powerful magic connected to her grave becomes the primary reason he enters the Tenrou Island battle.

Natsu Dragneel is initially helpless against Bluenote's gravity but defeats him years later after their second encounter.
