Azusa Enomoto

Azusa is kind, cheerful, sociable, and attentive to people around her. She forms friendly relationships with regular customers and is comfortable asking Kogorou for help when an unusual problem affects someone she knows.

Her curiosity sometimes brings her close to investigations, but she does not deliberately seek dangerous mysteries. Unlike the detectives who surround her, Azusa generally responds to incidents as an ordinary civilian.

She is also trusting toward Amuro and regards him primarily as a capable and popular coworker. His complicated activities outside the café remain largely separate from their everyday working relationship.

Azusa has no extraordinary abilities or formal investigative training. She is an experienced café employee who handles customers, orders, and the routine operation of Poirot.

Her familiarity with regular customers occasionally makes her a useful witness. She can recognize changes in people's behavior and provide investigators with details about conversations or events that occurred inside the café.

Azusa originated as an anime character before being incorporated into the manga. Within the main series, Café Poirot makes her a recurring neighbor of the Mouri Detective Agency and an occasional catalyst for cases involving customers, messages, lost property, or suspicious behavior.

Her prominence increases after Amuro begins working at Poirot. The café subsequently becomes a more important recurring location because it places an apparently ordinary workplace directly alongside several major ongoing storylines.

Azusa is occasionally drawn into those larger conflicts despite having no knowledge of Amuro's true affiliations, including situations where other characters exploit her appearance or identity.

Rei Furuya works alongside Azusa at Café Poirot under the name Toru Amuro. Azusa considers Rei Furuya a reliable coworker and is largely unaware of the dangerous activities surrounding him.

Kogorou Mouri is a regular Poirot customer whose detective agency is directly above the café. Azusa occasionally brings unusual problems to Kogorou Mouri for help.

Conan Edogawa frequently visits Poirot with the Mouri family and becomes involved when incidents surrounding Azusa develop into cases.

Sugihito Enomoto is Azusa's older brother and becomes involved in one case when suspicious circumstances make him the subject of police attention.
