Anthony Sorb

Anthony receives little characterization outside the Chiba International team's tournament appearance. He participates in the group's playful attempt to unsettle Mizusawa before the match.

Anthony is a competitive karuta player capable of representing his school at the national high-school championship.

Anthony appears during Mizusawa's national championship group stage. Chiba International's internationally styled roster and initial use of English briefly distract the Mizusawa players before they recognize the tactic.

The match then proceeds as ordinary competitive karuta, with Anthony occupying one of Chiba's five boards.
