Synopsis
Winter Cup Highlights -Shadow and Light- condenses the opening portion of the Winter Cup storyline, centering on Seirin High’s rematch with Tōō Academy. The game brings Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami back into conflict with Daiki Aomine, whose overwhelming individual ability previously exposed the limits of Seirin’s basketball.
As the first of three compilation films derived from the television anime, the movie revisits the rivalry between Kuroko’s team-oriented philosophy and Aomine’s isolationist style. Its concentrated presentation emphasizes the match’s tactical reversals, personal history and high-intensity use of the Zone.
