Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE

Following the Treasure Island expedition, Senku Ishigami and the Kingdom of Science begin a worldwide journey to gather the resources necessary for reaching the Moon. Their first objective is the United States, where they hope to cultivate corn on a vast scale and secure a reliable supply of revival fluid. After crossing the Pacific aboard the Perseus, however, the expedition discovers that another technologically advanced society has already formed in California.

The cour adapts the manga’s New America City arc, placing Senku in opposition to Dr. Xeno, a brilliant former NASA scientist, and Xeno’s military commander Stanley Snyder. Their encounter develops into a conflict driven by radio intelligence, aviation, firearms, infiltration, and rival scientific strategies. The storyline is notable for introducing an antagonist capable of matching Senku intellectually while expanding the series from exploration into a contest between two modernizing civilizations.
