Synopsis
Following the construction of a hot-air balloon, Senku Ishigami and the Kingdom of Science begin gathering the resources and expertise needed for an ocean voyage. With navigator Ryusui Nanami and chef Francois joining the project, the group develops agriculture, mapping, photography, and other technologies before completing the scientific vessel Perseus.
The cour adapts the Age of Exploration arc and the opening portion of the Treasure Island arc. After receiving a mysterious radio transmission, Senku’s expedition follows a clue connected to the origins of Ishigami Village, bringing the crew to an island with its own civilization and petrification technology. The story is notable for expanding the series beyond mainland Japan while shifting its scientific challenges toward navigation, maritime engineering, espionage, and survival in hostile territory.
