Xiao's Mother

Xiao's mother is protective of her family and shares the concerns of the villagers living under the dangerous conditions created on Shiki's islands.

Her limited screen time does not provide extensive characterization beyond her concern for her children and elderly mother.

Xiao's mother has no established Devil Fruit, Haki, or combat techniques.

Like other members of her community, she relies on the protective properties of Daft Green to keep the island's dangerous animals away.

Xiao's mother appears after Zoro and Chopper become involved with Xiao and her village. The family helps ground the Straw Hats' conflict with Shiki in the lives of ordinary residents forced to survive among the genetically altered animals of Merveille.

When the village is endangered, Xiao's mother accompanies her family to safety. The film's conclusion shows the family together after the conflict. Her Japanese and English voice actors are Mika Doi and Jessica Cavanagh respectively.

Xiao and Ever are her daughters. Xiao's unnamed grandmother is her elderly family member whose illness prompts Xiao to search for IQ.

Roronoa Zoro and Tony Tony Chopper become allies of the family after rescuing Xiao. Shiki's control over the floating islands creates the danger affecting their community.
