Warashibe is obsessive, jealous and socially awkward. He becomes intensely attracted to Miho and repeatedly gives her Capsule Monster pieces, expecting his generosity and gaming ability to make her interested in him.
He is willing to stage situations designed to make himself look heroic. Rather than simply admitting his feelings, he attempts to manufacture opportunities in which Miho will see him as someone impressive and dependable.
Warashibe is also genuinely knowledgeable about Capsule Monster Chess. His confidence is not entirely empty boasting; he possesses rare pieces and understands the game well enough to pressure Yugi seriously.

Warashibe specializes in Capsule Monster Chess, a tabletop game in which monsters emerge from capsules and battle across a board. He possesses numerous Capsule Monsters and gives several pieces to Miho while attempting to court her.

Warashibe appears during the growing popularity of Capsule Monster Chess. He repeatedly gives Miho Capsule Monster pieces and attempts to convince her of his romantic interest, although she fails to understand his intentions.
He eventually tries to stage a rescue in which he can appear heroic before Miho, drawing Yugi into his efforts. The situation escalates into a Capsule Monster Chess confrontation.
Dark Yugi transforms their match into a Shadow Game after Warashibe's behavior goes too far. Warashibe is defeated despite his experience and large collection of Capsule Monsters.

Miho Nosaka is the object of Warashibe's infatuation. He gives Miho Nosaka Capsule Monster pieces and repeatedly attempts to impress her, although she does not recognize the romantic meaning behind his actions.
Yugi Mutou becomes involved when Warashibe attempts to stage circumstances that will make him appear heroic. Their conflict culminates in a Capsule Monster Chess Shadow Game in which Dark Yugi defeats Warashibe.
Hiroto Honda also has strong feelings for Miho Nosaka, placing him naturally at odds with Warashibe's attempts to court her.
