Uran

Uran is outgoing, playful, and prone to teasing both allies and enemies. She remains conversational in the middle of combat, treating dangerous confrontations with a casual confidence that reflects her faith in her own abilities.

She has an easy rapport with Bingo, joking about his eating habits and the sleepiness that follows excessive use of his unusual sorcery. Uran is similarly willing to tease other Hishaku members, including Yukisada, rather than treating the organization's powerful sorcerers with rigid formality.

Her relaxed behavior does not indicate compassion toward opponents. Uran can freeze Kamunabi personnel without hesitation and reacts to extreme violence around her with little concern.

Uran is an elite sorcerer capable of reinforcing her body with spirit energy. Her membership in the Hishaku already places her among a small group of unusually dangerous sorcerers, and her personal technique makes her effective at immediately disabling targets.

Her sorcery manipulates extreme cold and ice. Uran can freeze an opponent by exhaling freezing air at close range, encasing the target and immobilizing them. She can also freeze targets from several metres away without requiring direct contact.

The ice can be broken by sufficiently powerful sorcery. Ikuto Hagiwara, for example, is able to use his iron-sand technique to force his way free after Uran freezes him. Even so, the speed with which she can immobilize opponents makes her ability particularly dangerous when combined with allies capable of delivering a finishing attack.

Uran first appears among the mysterious Hishaku sorcerers connected to the theft of the Enchanted Blades. Her precise identity and abilities remain concealed for much of the story while Chihiro Rokuhira searches for the people responsible for the attack on his family.

Uran is eventually identified as one of the three Hishaku sorcerers who personally attacked the Rokuhira residence, killed Kunishige, and stole the six Enchanted Blades.

She later participates in the Hishaku's assault on Kamunabi Headquarters alongside Bingo and other members. Uran and Bingo advance through the facility together, rapidly eliminating defending sorcerers before encountering stronger Kamunabi opposition.

During that confrontation, Uran freezes Hagiwara to create an opening for Bingo. Hagiwara escapes using his iron-sand sorcery, demonstrating that the Kamunabi's elite fighters can counter Uran's immobilization under the right circumstances.

Bingo frequently fights alongside Uran during the attack on Kamunabi Headquarters. The two have an informal rapport, with Uran teasing him about his need to consume enemies and the drowsiness caused by overeating.

Yukisada is another Hishaku member with whom Uran interacts casually. She is comfortable teasing him despite his formidable reputation.

Ikuto Hagiwara becomes one of Uran's opponents during the headquarters assault. She successfully freezes him, but he breaks through the ice with his sorcery.

Kunishige Rokuhira is connected to Uran through her participation in the Hishaku attack that kills him and takes his Enchanted Blades.

Chihiro Rokuhira hunts the Hishaku responsible for attacking his father, placing Uran among the people at the center of his pursuit.
