Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu is straightforward, calm, perceptive, and comfortable saying what others may avoid. Her bluntness is rarely malicious; she prefers clear communication and expects people to understand where she stands.

She developed considerable independence while helping care for her younger siblings when her parents were frequently away for work. This contributes to her maturity and practical approach to difficult situations.

Tsuyu also possesses a strong sense of rules and responsibility. When classmates consider attempting an unauthorized rescue of Bakugou, she openly warns them that acting outside the law would make their behavior resemble that of villains. Her later emotional reaction shows that the disagreement matters precisely because she cares about them.

Frog grants Tsuyu a broad collection of frog-like traits. She can leap great distances, cling to walls, swim at high speed, extend her tongue approximately twenty meters, and use it to grab people or objects.

She can camouflage herself by changing her body's coloration, although the concealment is imperfect. She can also secrete mucus with different properties.

Tsuyu's greatest strength is versatility rather than overwhelming force. She can rescue civilians, restrain enemies, scout terrain, maneuver through water, and cooperate effectively with other Quirks.

Tsuyu becomes prominent during the U.S.J. attack after being transported to the Shipwreck Zone with Izuku Midoriya and Minoru Mineta. Her aquatic mobility becomes crucial to their escape.

She later interns with the marine hero Selkie, gaining practical rescue and maritime experience.

Tsuyu's objection to the unauthorized Bakugou rescue creates one of her most personal conflicts with her classmates. After the group returns, she explains how deeply the incident affected her and asks them to restore the trust and ordinary friendship they shared before it.

During later large-scale conflicts, Tsuyu regularly operates alongside Ochaco Uraraka, combining mobility, rescue ability, and battlefield awareness.

Ochaco Uraraka is one of Tsuyu's closest friends and frequent combat partners.

Izuku Midoriya fights alongside Tsuyu during the U.S.J. incident and numerous later operations.

Minoru Mineta accompanies Tsuyu and Izuku in the Shipwreck Zone.
