Tetsuo Tamura

The manga provides too little focused dialogue or background to establish a detailed personality for Tamura.

Like several newcomers produced by the Shinjuku incident, he has no prior understanding of Gantz and does not display the discipline of the returning participants.

Tamura has no established supernatural abilities or specialized combat skills.

He has access to Gantz equipment as a participant, but no notable proficiency with the suit or weapons is established.

Tamura appears among the large group assembled before the Dinosaur Alien mission. He enters a hunt populated by raptors and enormous dinosaurs without previous Gantz experience.

Rather than remain inside the permitted game area, Tamura attempts to leave. Crossing the boundary activates Gantz's implanted explosive and kills him before he can become an established member of the team.

Kei Kurono is one of the experienced hunters participating in Tamura's first mission.

Shion Izumi's actions in Shinjuku create the circumstances that bring Tamura into the Gantz system.
