Tetsu Sokura

Sokura appears calm and composed in most of his limited appearances. He does not seek attention through elaborate boasts and generally maintains a restrained expression around the other participants.

His composure can be broken when confronted by an opponent operating far beyond his expectations. During his Second Selection material, Shidou's explosive ability visibly surprises him.

Because Sokura receives relatively little dialogue, the series does not establish his background, ambitions or personal philosophy in enough detail for a broader psychological profile.

Sokura is a forward capable of progressing through both the First and Second Selections. The exact weapon responsible for his success is not identified in canon.

Episode Nagi provides a clearer look at his Second Selection competition, but even there the emphasis falls primarily on Shidou and the players around him rather than on a specialized Sokura technique.

His progression nevertheless demonstrates adaptability. After losing a Second Selection match, he is selected by the winning team and continues competing until that group completes the stage.

Sokura's Second Selection history is expanded in Episode Nagi. His three-player team loses against Shidou, Reo and Igarashi, after which they choose Sokura to join them. The resulting four-player team later wins another match and adds Ranze Kurona, becoming the seventh team to clear the Second Selection.

During the Third Selection, Sokura chooses Team B under Tabito Karasu and Eita Otoya. He plays alongside Reiji Hiiragi and Haruhiko Yuzu in one of the tryout matches.

Sokura later chooses Spain's FC Barcha for the Neo Egoist League but does not receive playing time during the competition.

Ryuusei Shidou, Reo Mikage and Gurimu Igarashi encounter Sokura during the Second Selection. After defeating his team, they select Sokura to become their fourth member.

Ranze Kurona later joins Sokura's group as its fifth player, completing the seventh team to clear the Second Selection.

Reiji Hiiragi and Haruhiko Yuzu play alongside Sokura during the Third Selection, while Tabito Karasu and Eita Otoya anchor their Team B group.
