Suzuha Amane

Suzuha is energetic, friendly and physically active. She enjoys cycling and approaches unfamiliar people with surprising ease, yet she avoids relying on others and becomes evasive whenever questions move too close to her background.

Her vocabulary sometimes sounds oddly militaristic or technical. She is also far more comfortable with physical confrontation and survival skills than an ordinary part-time employee should be, details that Okabe notices without immediately understanding.

Her friendliness has limits where Kurisu Makise is concerned. Suzuha initially reacts to Kurisu with distrust that seems disproportionate to anything Kurisu herself has done.

Suzuha is exceptionally athletic and has extensive combat and survival training. She can handle firearms, fight at close quarters and respond quickly to dangerous situations.

She also understands time-machine operation and possesses considerable knowledge of world lines, attractor fields and the future consequences of SERN's research. These abilities come from growing up as a resistance fighter in 2036 before traveling into the past.

Her missions require more than combat skill. Suzuha must operate alone in unfamiliar historical periods, locate people and technology with limited information, and preserve equipment whose failure could make returning to her own era impossible.

Suzuha enters the story as Yuugo Tennouji's new employee and becomes a frequent visitor to the Future Gadget Laboratory. Her search for her missing father runs alongside the lab's increasingly dangerous experiments.

Suzuha is the time traveler using the name John Titor in the Alpha world lines. She has come from 2036, where SERN controls society, to obtain an IBN 5100 and change the past. Her father is Itaru Hashida, whom she knows in the future as Barrel Titor.

After the lab delays her departure, a storm damages her time machine. Daru repairs it, but the damage causes Suzuha to lose her memories after traveling to 1975. Okabe later learns that her mission failed and reverses the D-Mail that prevented her original departure.

Steins;Gate 0 presents a different Suzuha from the Beta attractor field. She travels from a future devastated by World War III and works to ensure that Okabe eventually reaches Steins Gate, later participating with Mayuri in Operation Arc-Light.

Itaru Hashida is Suzuha's father, the person she travels through time hoping to meet.

Yuki Amane is Suzuha's mother in the future.

Rintarou Okabe becomes one of Suzuha's most important allies in 2010. She depends on him to make the world-line changes her missions cannot accomplish alone.

Kurisu Makise is initially treated with suspicion by Suzuha because Kurisu's research becomes associated with SERN's time-machine technology in the Alpha future.

Yuugo Tennouji employs Suzuha at the Braun Tube Workshop and develops a friendly relationship with her.

Mayuri Shiina becomes particularly important to the Beta-world-line Suzuha. The two eventually travel together to 2010 as part of Operation Arc-Light.
