Susuki

Susuki is dutiful and protective. His limited screen time centers on his willingness to confront vastly stronger attackers to defend Shion.

Susuki has the combat training expected of Shion's guards but is not shown using a substantial catalogue of named techniques.

Susuki is present when the Gang of Four attacks the priestess's residence. He and the other guards attempt to stop the assassins before Konoha's escort team becomes fully involved.

His role emphasizes the danger surrounding Shion and the extent to which her retainers are expected to place themselves between the priestess and potential attackers.

Shion is the priestess Susuki is sworn to protect. Taruho is another of Shion's loyal attendants. Yomi's followers become their enemies during the attempt to resurrect Mōryō.
