Stella is kind and values Tesoro independently of his financial circumstances. Her attitude contrasts with the worldview he later adopts, in which money becomes the principal measure of a person's worth and freedom.

She encourages a more hopeful side of Tesoro before circumstances separate them.

Stella has no established combat abilities, Devil Fruit, or Haki.

She is an ordinary civilian whose importance is personal rather than martial.

Stella appears principally through Tesoro's backstory. Her relationship with him develops before he obtains the Goru Goru no Mi or acquires his immense fortune.

Stella is purchased and enslaved by a World Noble after Tesoro is unable to buy her freedom. She later dies while enslaved, and Tesoro's inability to save her becomes a defining trauma behind his obsession with money and power.
