Sodum

Sodum is boastful, flirtatious and eager to present himself as more important than he appears to be. He introduces himself to Elizabeth with grand claims about his status in Inepril and attempts to secure a date despite her lack of interest.

His bravado disappears quickly when confronted by someone physically intimidating. After becoming angry when Kesskass bumps into him, Sodum immediately backs down once he sees the man's size.

Sodum is an ordinary human with no established supernatural abilities, combat techniques or exceptional physical skills.

His claims of importance are not supported by anything shown in the episode. The series provides no evidence that his "Supersonic" title represents an actual ability.

Sodum appears briefly in "Lost July" when Elizabeth arrives in Inepril aboard the sand steamer Flourish. The city's damaged Plant has made her technical expertise essential, attracting attention from the residents.

Sodum attempts to flirt with Elizabeth and claims to be in charge of the city. She ignores him, and his encounter with Kesskass provides a short comic interruption before the episode moves into the much more serious story surrounding Vash and Elizabeth.

His role is confined to this anime episode and does not affect the larger conflict.

Elizabeth is the Plant engineer Sodum unsuccessfully tries to impress after her arrival in Inepril.

Kesskass accidentally bumps into Sodum. Sodum initially becomes angry but immediately backs down after seeing how physically imposing Kesskass is.
