Seppuku Edomura

Edomura is relaxed and pragmatic in his approach to Choujin incidents. He does not treat every offender as an irredeemable monster and is capable of addressing the frustration underlying an awakening rather than focusing only on punishment.

His response to Masao is almost conversational. Faced with a man whose resentment toward work and consumer culture has erupted into supernatural violence, Edomura suggests channeling that dissatisfaction into politics instead.

He also recognizes useful assistance from Tokio and Ely, rewarding them after the Jasto incident rather than dismissing their contribution because they are inexperienced.

Edomura is identified as a Keeper, but no personal Choujin ability is established for him.

Keeper duties are broader than combat and include incident response, investigation, support and management of Choujin-related disturbances. Edomura's known appearance emphasizes these responsibilities rather than supernatural fighting.

Edomura arrives after the Package Choujin incident at Jasto has been brought under control. Tokio and Ely have already confronted Masao and released the people trapped by his ability.

He assumes responsibility for the aftermath as the official Keeper on the scene. His presence shows how Yamato Mori handles smaller Choujin disturbances that do not require senior fighters such as Sandek.

Edomura also rewards Tokio and Ely with shopping certificates for helping resolve the case, providing a mundane conclusion to one of their earliest unsupervised encounters with a dangerous Choujin.

Masao Chikabo is the uncontrolled Choujin whose case Edomura handles at Jasto. Rather than responding only with punishment, Edomura encourages Masao Chikabo to redirect his grievances into nonviolent action.

Tokio Kurohara helps resolve the Jasto incident before Edomura arrives, earning recognition from the Keeper.

Ely Otta plays the decisive role in subduing Masao, and Edomura similarly rewards her contribution.
