Satoru no Haha

Satoru's mother is attentive and immediately concerned when her son disappears into a dangerous situation. Unlike Satoru, she recognizes that the True Cross Order's cordon means they should stay away rather than treating the activity as entertainment.

Her interactions with the Okumura brothers are dominated by anxiety over her son's safety. She seeks reassurance from the exorcists but is forced to wait while they enter the contaminated area.

She is openly grateful toward the people who help her child, displaying considerable relief when the immediate danger has passed.

Satoru's mother is an ordinary human with no established exorcist training, supernatural abilities or combat skills.

Her role provides a civilian perspective on the True Cross Order's work. While trained exorcists can confront miasma and demons directly, people such as Satoru and his mother depend upon the Order to contain supernatural incidents before they spread into populated areas.

Satoru's mother is walking through North True Cross with her son when they encounter exorcists cordoning off a dangerous section of the area. Satoru's curiosity leads him past the restriction before she can stop him.

After her son is taken, she anxiously waits while Rin and Yukio become involved in the rescue. Rin confidently promises that they will save him, while Yukio cautions against making a guarantee when they do not yet understand the situation.

The brothers ultimately bring Satoru back after Yukio treats his miasma exposure. His mother tearfully thanks them for returning her son safely.

Satoru is her young son, whose safety becomes her sole concern after he enters the restricted area.

Rin Okumura reassures her that Satoru will be rescued and participates in retrieving him.

Yukio Okumura takes a more cautious approach when speaking with her and later provides the treatment that helps Satoru recover from his miasma exposure.
