Sadashirou Kajiki

Kajiki is loyal to Shigure and committed to the cause pursued by his fellow former warriors. His political resentment has survived the transition into the Meiji period, leaving him receptive to direct action against the government.

He is considerably more defined by loyalty and militant commitment than by an extensive independent personal arc. He accepts the dangers accompanying Shigure's plans and continues to stand with his old comrade as their opposition escalates.

Kajiki is an experienced swordsman who fought during the Bakumatsu. His survival into the Meiji period and continued participation in armed activity demonstrate practical combat experience.

He does not possess a prominently established signature technique comparable with Kenshin's Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū. His ability is instead presented within the broader martial strength of Shigure's supporters.

Kajiki appears as one of the former warriors supporting Shigure's anti-government movement. Their cause emerges from disappointment with the political order created after the Restoration and the belief that the sacrifices of the Bakumatsu have been betrayed.

As Shigure moves toward armed confrontation, Kajiki remains among his committed supporters. His presence demonstrates that Shigure's resentment is shared by veterans who fought beside him rather than existing only as an individual grievance.
