Ryuugan is boastful, impatient, proud, and confident that Takumi Village's advanced weaponry gives him superiority over ordinary shinobi.

He enjoys demonstrating the Garian Sword's abilities and repeatedly predicts that his opponents will die once he attacks seriously.

His loyalty to the Four Celestial Symbols Men's cause is tied to resentment that the major shinobi villages benefited from Takumi's weapons but failed to support the village when its fortunes declined.

Ryuugan is highly proficient with the Garian Sword, a segmented blade capable of extending from short to long range.

By channeling chakra into it, he can produce a dragon-shaped chakra manifestation whose power is amplified by the weapon.

Together with the other Four Celestial Symbols Men, Ryuugan can use Ninja Tools Barrier: Reverse Fish Scales Formation, a coordinated formation designed to suppress Gaara.

He combines the weapon's flexibility with speed and aggressive close-range swordsmanship.

Ryuugan participates in the Four Celestial Symbols Men's attack on Sunagakure and the abduction of Matsuri.

His task is to isolate Gaara's allies while the group moves toward completing Seimei's resurrection.
