Rui Hanawaza

Rui is confident and self-assured, sharing the polished behavior expected from the Bamyuu 4's rich, handsome members. He participates readily in the group's romantic pursuit of Roboco.

His characterization is intentionally exaggerated rather than psychologically detailed. Rui behaves like a romance-manga archetype transplanted into Bondo's absurd everyday life, treating the effort to win Roboco's affection with melodramatic seriousness.

Rui is an ordinary human and has no established supernatural abilities or combat powers.

His defining advantages are his appearance, wealth and membership in the Bamyuu 4. These qualities make him socially prominent but function primarily as part of the series' parody rather than as conventional powers.

Rui appears as part of the Bamyuu 4 during Bondo's investigation into Roboco's strange behavior. Bondo follows his OrderMaid through the shopping district and discovers how popular she has become with the people around town.

The situation escalates when the Bamyuu 4 appear. Toukasa leads the group, with Rui, Nishicado Sōzaburō and Motsuo completing the quartet.

Rui joins the others in pursuing Roboco romantically. The entire sequence turns the ordinary concern that Roboco may be hiding something from Bondo into an elaborate parody of wealthy-school romance stories.

Myouji Toukasa is Rui's fellow Bamyuu 4 member and the group's leader.

Roboco attracts Rui's romantic attention, leading him to participate in the Bamyuu 4's efforts to court her.

Motsuo Kaneo is another member of the Bamyuu 4 despite also belonging to Bondo's ordinary circle of best friends.

Nishicado Sōzaburō completes the Bamyuu 4 alongside Rui, Toukasa and Motsuo.

Bondo Taira encounters Rui while following Roboco and watches the wealthy boys compete for her attention.
