Reo's mother is refined, composed and accustomed to planning her son's future around the opportunities available to an extraordinarily wealthy family. She sees elite education and business as the natural route for him.

She does not share Reo's fascination with football as an unpredictable challenge. From the family's perspective, pursuing a professional sporting career introduces unnecessary uncertainty into a life already positioned for conventional success.

Canon provides substantially less individual characterization for Reo's mother than for Reo himself, and her role is generally presented together with the broader expectations of the Mikage household.
