Nue Kimera

Nue is manipulative, predatory, and philosophically obsessed with stealing from a world it regards as unjust. It seeks people whose despair makes them receptive to the idea that fate itself can be robbed.

Rather than simply forcing itself onto every potential host, Nue exploits emotional vulnerability. It offers power as a solution to loss, encouraging its targets to reinterpret theft and deprivation as rebellion against destiny.

Its identity persists beyond individual bodies, giving it a perspective less concerned with the survival of one physical form than with ensuring continuation through a suitable successor.

Haginaphony Pilfer allows Nue and its successors to graft body parts from other Choujin onto themselves and gain access to the corresponding abilities. Parts granted to another vessel can carry the Depriver power forward.

Because of this accumulation, Nue can wield abilities originating from numerous Choujin rather than relying on one natural specialty. Its demonstrated arsenal includes enhanced ocular attacks, Mimic, smoke generation, and Loaned Sword techniques.

Unlike ordinary Choujin, Nue itself appears unable to rely on Raise in the conventional way and instead depends on a host or vessel to sustain its existence.

Nue belongs to a history of Choujin who steal powers and inhabit successive vessels. Its existence explains the origin of one of the story's most unusual methods of accumulating abilities.

Nue eventually encounters Batista Hoshi at a point when Batista has been devastated by loss and repeated failures to change the future. Recognizing him as a suitable vessel, Nue offers him the ability to "steal back" from the world in exchange for his body.

Batista accepts the Depriver inheritance, making Nue's power foundational to the abilities later associated with Noh Mask. The parasite's legacy consequently becomes intertwined with XEMBER, stolen Choujin abilities, and the struggle over Sora's power.

Noh Mask becomes the most consequential inheritor of Nue's power. The Nue approaches Batista before he becomes Noh Mask and offers its Depriver abilities in exchange for using him as a vessel.

Sora Siruha later becomes a target for powers derived from Nue's lineage as the struggle over the Mark of the Beast escalates.
