Native

Native receives limited direct characterization, but he displays the basic resolve expected of an active professional hero. Even after being badly injured by Stain, he remains conscious of the danger surrounding him and understands that the students attempting to intervene are putting themselves at enormous risk.

His comparatively small narrative role means canon does not establish a detailed personal philosophy, agency structure, or extensive background. Most of what can be said securely about Native comes from his actions during the Hosu crisis and his later participation in national hero operations.

Native's Quirk is never identified or demonstrated clearly enough for an established description. Canon therefore does not support assigning him a specific named ability.

He is nevertheless a licensed Pro Hero capable of ordinary professional field work, implying training in combat, rescue, civilian protection, and the legal responsibilities associated with public Quirk use.

His inability to overcome Stain should not be treated as evidence that he is incompetent. Stain has already defeated or incapacitated numerous licensed heroes by the time Native encounters him, and Bloodcurdle gives Stain an especially dangerous advantage once he obtains an opponent's blood.

Native becomes important during the Hosu Incident after Stain corners and incapacitates him in an alley.

Tenya Iida, who has been searching Hosu for Stain out of revenge for his brother's injuries, discovers the confrontation and attempts to fight the villain himself.

Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki subsequently arrive, turning the encounter into a prolonged battle in which the students must protect both Iida and Native while confronting Stain.

Native later returns to professional activity and joins the heroes mobilized for the Paranormal Liberation War, including the Jaku Hospital operation.

Stain attacks and incapacitates Native during the Hosu Incident.

Tenya Iida discovers Native while pursuing Stain and becomes drawn into the same confrontation.

Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki arrive to help protect Native and oppose Stain.

Endeavor leads many of the hero operations surrounding the wider Hosu emergency in which Native is endangered.
