Moore

Moore is determined to escape the life imposed upon her and build a future with Julius. She is frightened by the people pursuing them but remains committed to leaving rather than accepting continued control by the caravan.

Her affection for Julius is genuine and reciprocal. The prospect of freedom matters to her not only as escape from exploitation but as an opportunity for the two of them to choose their own lives.

Moore is an ordinary human without established combat abilities or supernatural powers.

She works as a saloon dancer, although Wolfwood jokingly criticizes her performance. Her principal challenge is survival rather than combat, requiring her to evade armed men sent to recover her and Julius.

Moore appears in the anime-original "Escape from Pain." Milly Thompson and Wolfwood discover that she is trying to flee the caravan with Julius and decide to help them.

Vash the Stampede is meanwhile hired to retrieve Julius, apparently placing him against Wolfwood. The caravan is involved in slave trading, and Moore herself is being treated as human merchandise rather than as someone free to leave.

Vash uses rubber bullets to make it appear that he has shot Moore and Julius, tricking their pursuers and allowing the couple to escape. Julius also learns that the caravan owner who claimed to be his father was deceiving him, while his actual father grants the couple their freedom.

Julius is Moore's lover and the person with whom she attempts to escape the caravan and begin a new life.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood decides to help Moore and Julius flee despite initially believing that the situation may require a sacrifice.

Milly Thompson sympathizes strongly with Moore and actively helps conceal and protect her.

Vash the Stampede appears to oppose Moore's escape after accepting a job to retrieve Julius. His apparent attack is actually a deception using rubber bullets to help the couple escape safely.

Meryl Stryfe becomes involved through Vash and Milly and helps communicate information relevant to Julius's freedom.
