Mondai Omaeno

Mondai is inquisitive and naturally attentive to strange stories. His interest in rumors suits UTS, where even seemingly absurd reports can turn out to involve genuine extraterrestrials.

He is comfortable working as part of the company's eccentric veteran staff and rarely treats the unusual nature of UTS's work as a reason to withdraw from a case. Much of his characterization comes through this professional role rather than through personal conflicts.

Mondai's principal skill is gathering and interpreting information about urban rumors. This gives UTS a source of local intelligence when unusual reports begin spreading through Mutsuba Town.

He has no established supernatural abilities or individual Rush Duel Deck. His contribution to the company is investigative rather than combat-oriented.

Mondai is already employed by UTS when Yudias Velgear arrives in Mutsuba Town. He remains among the veteran workers supporting Yuamu Ohdo and Yuhi Ohdo as their alien-related business becomes involved in increasingly large incidents.

His specialization is particularly appropriate to UTS's work because many aliens hide among Earth's population, allowing seemingly ridiculous local rumors to contain useful information.

Mondai continues to appear with the broader UTS staff as the company becomes connected to Rush Dueling and the conflicts surrounding the Velgear Cluster.

Yuamu Ohdo is the president of UTS and directs the company in which Mondai works.

Yuhi Ohdo is Mondai's younger coworker and one of the central members of UTS.

Yudias Velgear joins UTS after arriving on Earth, making the alien soldier another of Mondai's colleagues.
