Mizura is loyal to his friends and ultimately courageous enough to speak against Hoshigakure's acting leader.

His illness leaves him physically fragile, but he refuses to hide the truth once Akahoshi's actions threaten the other trainees.

He is particularly protective of Hokuto, putting himself in danger when Akahoshi attacks her.

Mizura participates in Hoshigakure's star training, which exposes shinobi to the chakra-emitting meteorite and enables the Mysterious Peacock Method.

However, the training severely damages his internal organs.

Because of his illness, Mizura's combat ability is much more limited than that of healthy star-trained shinobi.

His condition itself becomes critical evidence demonstrating the cost of the technique.
