Miyuki

Miyuki is quiet, lonely and deeply attached to the memory of her dog. Her parents’ separation and lack of close friends leave the stuffed Shintarou as her principal companion.

She risks herself to retrieve the toy from a river, demonstrating how strongly she associates it with security and affection.

Miyuki is an ordinary Human child with no demonstrated spiritual power. She cannot clearly perceive the Hollow connected to Shintarou’s death.

Her vulnerability motivates Kon to act as a genuine protector rather than pursue praise or attention.

Miyuki falls into a river while trying to recover her stuffed dog, and Kon rescues her using Ichigo’s body. He later learns that the toy commemorates her deceased pet.

A two-headed dog Hollow attacks, and Kon fights it while protecting Miyuki. She survives the incident and reunites with her mother.

Kon rescues Miyuki and recognizes her loneliness. Shintarou is the deceased dog commemorated by her stuffed toy.

Miyuki’s mother reunites with her after the Hollow incident.
