Masrur

Masrur speaks little and rarely displays strong emotion in ordinary situations. His silence is easily mistaken for hostility, though he is capable of dry remarks and has little patience for unnecessary commotion. He respects Sinbad deeply and follows his commands with little hesitation.

His concern for fellow Fanalis is particularly visible around Morgiana. Masrur recognizes both her tremendous potential and the dangers of relying recklessly on Fanalis strength. He becomes genuinely angry when people he cares about are seriously harmed.

Masrur possesses the tremendous physical strength, speed and senses characteristic of the Fanalis. He can overpower ordinary fighters without weapons and specializes in close-range combat built around kicks and other direct physical attacks. His experience as a gladiator further sharpened those natural abilities.

As a member of Sinbad's Household, Masrur uses the Household Vessel Bararaq Kauza, which draws upon the power of Sinbad's Djinn Baal. Activating it further enhances his already exceptional combat power, allowing him to confront enemies that ordinary physical attacks cannot handle.

His understanding of Fanalis physiology also makes him an effective instructor for Morgiana. He teaches her to channel her strength efficiently rather than simply exhausting herself through overwhelming force.

Masrur first enters the main story as one of Sinbad's attendants and Eight Generals in Sindria. He participates in the defense of the kingdom and helps train the younger fighters staying there.

His earlier life is explored further in Adventure of Sinbad. As a child, he is enslaved and forced into gladiatorial combat in Reim before eventually becoming one of Sinbad's companions.

Years after the main Sindria period, Masrur moves to Reim and joins the Fanalis Corps under Muu Alexius, reconnecting more directly with other members of his people.

Sinbad is Masrur's king and longtime master. Masrur's loyalty to him is one of his most consistent traits.

Morgiana is Masrur's fellow Fanalis and student. He trains her and treats her with protective, older-brother-like concern.

Sharrkan is a fellow Eight General who frequently interacts and quarrels with Masrur.

Ja'far is another longtime member of Sinbad's inner circle and serves alongside Masrur in Sindria.

Muu Alexius later becomes Masrur's commander within the Fanalis Corps.
