Maho Tagawa

Maho values the possibility of maintaining an ordinary civilian life despite being a Choujin. She works at a conventional company and keeps her supernatural identity separate from her coworkers whenever possible.

At the same time, she enjoys an element of excitement in maintaining two lives. A normal workday can abruptly become a Keeper deployment, forcing her to switch from office employee to combatant without preparation.

Her commitment to Yamato Mori demonstrates that her desire for normalcy does not prevent her from accepting responsibility when her abilities are needed.

As the Magic Choujin, Maho produces abilities resembling traditional magical spells. Her known techniques include offensive projectiles and defensive effects rather than a single transformation-based power.

Fire Spear provides a ranged offensive attack, while Protective Circle creates a defensive measure. Mage Tornade gives her another means of attacking or controlling the area around her.

Like other Choujin, Maho can use Raise to recover from otherwise lethal injuries. Her variety of techniques makes her suited to a flexible support and combat role within Keeper teams.

Maho appears as one of Yamato Mori's adult Keepers, broadening the organization beyond the students and full-time operatives surrounding Tokio. Her civilian career demonstrates that registered Choujin can maintain ordinary employment while remaining available for emergency work.

She operates as part of a Keeper unit alongside BB Banshee and Denku, combining her magical versatility with their respective abilities.

As Yamato Mori mobilizes against increasingly large threats, Maho is drawn from her civilian routine into frontline operations, where the separation between her ordinary and Choujin lives becomes impossible to maintain.

BB Banshee is one of Maho's Keeper partners. Their abilities complement one another during Yamato Mori operations.

Denku is another member of Maho's team and fights alongside her during major deployments.

Hoshi Sandek is one of the senior Yamato Mori figures under whose broader command Maho operates as a Keeper.

Ichiiro Sato helps coordinate Yamato Mori's combat forces and consequently works within the same operational structure as Maho.
