Liao

Liao is energetic, bold and highly competitive. She develops an intense desire to capture enemy cities and measures her progress through victories rather than courtly status.

Around Qi Wang, her harder military personality gives way to a more personal attachment rooted in their shared childhood. Her ambition to conquer one hundred cities is directly connected to a promise between them.

Liao is an exceptional warrior and commander. Her martial strength is sufficient to place her among Qin's Six Great Generals, while her leadership allows her to direct major campaigns independently.

She is particularly renowned for offensive warfare and the capture of fortified cities. By the height of her career, she has conquered dozens of enemy strongholds and become feared across the neighboring states.

Her military achievements are especially remarkable because she rises through the army while keeping her royal identity largely hidden.

Liao spends part of her childhood around Qi Wang's household and eventually enters military service. She rises through Qin's ranks until becoming one of the Six Great Generals.

Liao is secretly Zhao Qin's daughter. She and Qi Wang promise to marry after she captures one hundred enemy cities, turning her campaigns into both a national mission and a deeply personal goal.

Before completing that goal, Liao confronts Pang Nuan during his emergence as a Bushin. Pang Nuan kills her, and Qi Wang later scars him while attempting to avenge her. Her death becomes one of the defining events in Qi Wang's life.

Qi Wang is Liao's childhood companion, commander and fiancé. They intend to marry after she captures her hundredth city.

Zhao Qin is Liao's father, although her royal lineage is concealed from most people.

Pang Nuan becomes Liao's final major opponent. He kills her in battle, beginning his long personal enmity with Qi Wang.

Teng serves within Qi Wang's military circle and knows Liao from the earlier generation.

Bai Qi and Shang Hu are fellow members of Qin's original Six Great Generals.
