Leuvis is sadistic, confident and obsessed with the thrill of mortal combat. Killing defenseless children has become boring to him; what excites him is prey that understands the danger, develops a strategy and genuinely attempts to kill him.

He therefore differs from Poachers such as Luce, who enjoy domination itself. Leuvis wants risk. He willingly gives capable opponents opportunities because a predictable victory offers him little satisfaction.

His politeness and composure make this attitude more unsettling. He can discuss the rules of a hunt calmly while regarding human deaths as entertainment.

Leuvis possesses extraordinary strength, speed, reflexes and sensory perception even by demon standards. He can track rapid movement, evade gunfire and overpower human fighters at close range.

Like other intelligent demons, his vital weakness is the central eye behind his mask. His regeneration makes exploiting that weakness extremely difficult.

Leuvis possesses two cores, allowing him to survive damage that would normally kill a demon if one core remains intact.

His centuries of hunting experience make him highly skilled at reading opponents and recognizing traps.

Leuvis participates in Goldy Pond's secret hunts alongside Lord Bayon, Nous, Nouma and Luce. He is among the reserve's most dangerous Poachers and takes particular interest in children capable of resisting him.

Emma's arrival provides exactly the kind of opponent he wants. Instead of immediately eliminating her, Leuvis allows the confrontation to develop into a contest.

The Goldy Pond Resistance eventually coordinates a complex battle designed to overwhelm Leuvis's speed and regeneration. Emma and her allies destroy his eyes and exploit a flash attack to create the opening needed to bring him down.

Much later, Leuvis unexpectedly reappears after surviving through his second core. As a member of the royal family and the older brother of Sonju, he has the authority to intervene during the political collapse of the demon regime. He publicly supports abolishing the farms and helps legitimize Mujika's new order.

Parvus is Leuvis's small demon companion and frequently sits on his shoulder.

Emma becomes the human opponent who most strongly satisfies Leuvis's desire for a dangerous hunt.

Lucas has a long history with Leuvis after surviving an earlier massacre of his companions at Goldy Pond.

Yugo likewise lost most of his original family to Leuvis during the earlier Goldy Pond disaster.

Lord Bayon is a fellow aristocrat and Poacher involved in maintaining Goldy Pond.

Sonju is Leuvis's younger brother within the demon royal family.

Queen Legravalima is Leuvis's sister and a fellow member of the royal family.
